Today PM Narendra Modi to address medical fraternity on the occasion of National Doctors Day

On the occasion of National Doctors’ Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the medical community at an event on Thursday (July 1, 2021). The Indian Medical Association will organize the event (IMA). The event takes place while the country is still fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, and our medical community has played a critical role in saving the lives of lakhs of people as a whole.

PM Modi’s speech will be a way for the entire country to express gratitude to the medical community for their unwavering support during the crisis. In addition, the address will begin via video conferencing at 3 p.m.

Earlier, PM Modi taking it to his official Twitter handle said, “India is proud of the efforts of all doctors in fighting Covid-19. 1st July is marked as National Doctors Day. At 3 PM tomorrow, will address the doctor’s community at a programme organised by @IMAIndiaOrg.”

The Prime Minister has repeatedly praised the efforts of medical professionals who have been on the front lines of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier, in his 78th Mann Ki Baat address, Prime Minister Modi said, “On July 1, we will celebrate National Doctors’ Day, and we must pay tribute to our doctors who ensured that India did not succumb to the challenges posed by COVID-19.”

Every year on July 1st, India commemorates National Doctor’s Day to recognize and celebrate the efforts that medical professionals make to improve the health, well-being, and safety of others. The day honors the tireless efforts of medical professionals throughout their careers to save people’s lives.

On the other hand, to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the Digital India campaign, Prime Minister Modi will hold a video conference with beneficiaries on July 1.

“Digital India has been one of the most significant success stories of New India, enabling services, bringing the government closer to citizens, promoting citizen engagement, and empowering people,” the Centre said in a press release.
