Sabarimala Darshan: Daily Virtual Queue Booking Limited to 80,000 After Devotee Rush

In response to an unprecedented rush of devotees at the Sannidhanam in recent days, the government and the Devaswom board authorities have decided to reduce the daily virtual queue booking limit for Sabarimala darshan to 80,000, down from the current 90,000. Travancore Devaswom board president P.S Prashanth assured that while the virtual booking limit is lowered, a spot booking facility will be available for devotees at predetermined locations.

Contrary to some propaganda, Prashanth emphasized that basic facilities are indeed available at Sabarimala. Additionally, a queue complex system has been successfully implemented at Marakkuttam to enhance crowd management. Prashanth highlighted the various facilities organized along the path to Sannidhanam with the cooperation of different departments, ensuring a smooth and organized experience for devotees.
