Cream of Mushroom Soup Recipe

During winter a warm bowl of mushroom soup is the definition of comfort . Cream of Mushroom soup  can be made with a bunch of easily available ingredients and  can be prepared in less than 20 minutes with minimal effort.

In a saucepan and add the chicken broth .  Add in the mushrooms, onions and thyme and cook for 15 minutes on low heat. When cooked, blend the mixture.

In a pan melt some butter and  add all-purpose flour  and whisk for 1 minute until it is smooth. Add salt and pepper and also add in the vegetable mix that was already blended. Mix it all together and add the sherry. Serve hot
