Union Minister V Muraleedharan Criticizes CM: Selfies with Celebrities Won’t Solve Poverty Issues

In a fervent speech at the NDA State Workshop in Cherthala, Union Minister V Muraleedharan didn’t mince his words when he lambasted the Kerala government’s approach towards the state’s pressing issues. He expressed grave concerns about the deteriorating law-and-order situation, pointing out the rise in violence and terrorism. Muraleedharan emphasized that the government’s inclination towards superficial gestures, such as taking selfies with celebrities like Mammootty and Mohanlal, wouldn’t address the deep-rooted problems faced by the people, especially concerning poverty alleviation.

The minister urged the government to shift its focus from symbolic acts to practical, action-oriented solutions. He stressed the need for immediate measures to curb the escalating violence and terrorism. Muraleedharan called for comprehensive policies that prioritize the welfare of the citizens and address the economic disparities faced by many. His critique resonated with attendees at the workshop, including prominent leaders from the BJP and NDA, highlighting the urgency of the issues raised.
