Sharon’s mysterious death: Police recover herbicide bottle

The police have recovered the herbicide bottle allegedly used by the accused to poison Parassala native Sharon. The bottle was recovered during the evidence collection held at the main accused Greeshma’s house on Tuesday.

The white-coloured bottle with the green cap was recovered from the thick bushes near the pond in the plot. It is reported that Greeshma’s uncle Nirmal Kumar, who is also an accused in the case allegedly left it there.

During evidence collection, Nirmal himself showed the spot and the probe team recovered it. The probe officer informed me that the bottle will be sent for chemical examination. Meanwhile, apart from Nirmal Kumar, her mother Sindhu, who is also an accused in the case was present during the evidence collection.

The officials will carry out the evidence collection at the house in the presence of Greeshma. Police booked Greeshma’s mother and uncle for tampering with evidence. According to the case, Greeshma poisoned her boyfriend Sharon to death by mixing herbicide in an Ayurvedic concoction.
