Human sacrifice; 2 women butchered in Thiruvalla

In a suspected case of human sacrifice, two women were found butchered and buried inThiruvalla on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Kochi native Padma and another woman named Roslin from Kalady. As per the police reports, the women were trafficked from Ernakulam and murdered in Thiruvalla.

The incident came to light after the search for Padma, who had been missing since September 26. An accused has been taken into custody over the matter. Reports said that the women were murdered allegedly for human sacrifice on behalf of Thiruvalla couple Bhagvanth and Laila. Perumbavoor native Shihab is the person who reportedly acted as a middleman to allure the women.
