Ingredients

Wheat flour – 1 cup
Butter – 1 tablespoon
Ginger – 1 tablespoon
Oil – 2 tablespoon
Chopped garlic – 3
Chopped green chillies – 3
Salt – as needed
Water – as needed

Method of preparation

Take a bowl, add wheat flour, salt, oil and water and mix it well. Knead the dough properly and keep it aside for 30 minutes. Now, place a pan on the stove, add some butter and heat it under low flame. Later, add the chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli to the melted butter and mix it thoroughly. Meantime, take about half of the dough, roll it into small balls and spread it evenly to a round or oval-shaped naan using a rolling pin. Then add the ginger-garlic mixture to the naan and spread it evenly with the rolling pin once again. Later, heat a tawa on medium flame, put the naan on it and cook it for 1 to 2 minutes. home-made garlic naan is ready to serve!
