Tragic Car Explosion Claims Life of Man in Mavelikkara

Mavelikkara : A man lost his life when his car suddenly exploded while he was attempting to park it near his residence in Mavelikkara, Alappuzha. The victim, identified as Krishna Prakash, also known as Kannan, was a 35-year-old local resident from Karazhma. The incident occurred around midnight on Sunday.

Krishna Prakash was known for managing an internet cafe close to the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Mavelikkara. On the fateful night, he was returning home after finishing his work at the cafe. As he was parking the car in front of his rented house, a powerful explosion erupted, causing a tragic incident. Despite the swift response of nearby residents who rushed to the scene, their efforts to extinguish the fire were in vain.

Subsequently, the fire department arrived at the location and managed to bring the flames under control. Regrettably, Krishna Prakash couldn’t be rescued and succumbed to the unfortunate event. The exact reason behind the car’s explosion remains unknown and is currently under investigation. Krishna Prakash is the son of the late Thankappan Pillai and Rathiyamma.
