Car Catches Fire in Kottayam: Owner Suffers Severe Burns

Kottayam : A critical situation emerged as the owner of a vehicle, which ignited in flames at Pandachira in Vakathanam, sustained grave burn injuries. Sabu (57), hailing from Vakathanam Pandachira Ottukattu, endured significant burns as his car was completely consumed by the fire.

The incident occurred during Sabu’s return home following a service, taking place merely 20 meters away from his residence. Prompt action from the Changanassery fire department was required to extricate Sabu from the burning vehicle. With Sabu being the sole occupant of the car, his condition is deemed extremely severe.

In a tragic incident yesterday, a young individual lost his life as his car erupted in flames in Kandiyoor, Alappuzha. The deceased, identified as Krishna Prakash, also known as Kannan (35), encountered the accident around 12:45 am early Monday morning while attempting to park his car at his residence. The vehicle burst into a loud explosion as he was in the process of entering his home.
