Actor Kottayam Pradeep is no more; CM condoles on his demise

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and other ministers expressed condolence in the demise of Malayalam cine actor Kottayam Pradeep. Pradeep found a permanent place in the heart of Malayalis by presenting even small characters in his own style, the CM said. He also consoled the family members. Cultural minister Saji Cheriyan said he made notable performances in his five-decade-long career in the theatre and film industry.

Minister VN Vasavan said the demise of Pradeep is saddening. Actor Pradeep Kottayam passed away at around 4.15 am on Thursday. He was 61. He died of a heart attack after being hospitalized due to discomfort. He has acted in many Malayalam and Tamil movies. Pradeep started his film career in 2001 with IV Sasi movie ‘Ee Nadu Enale Vare’.
