Second Vande Bharat Express Conducts Trial Run in Kerala Ahead of Inauguration

The trial run of Kerala’s second Vande Bharat Express is scheduled for today. The trial run is set to commence at 7 am from Kasaragod. This train had departed from Thiruvananthapuram at 4.05 pm the previous day and arrived in Kasaragod at 11:55 pm. The train departing at 7 am is expected to reach Thiruvananthapuram by 3 pm.

On the same day, the train will depart from Thiruvananthapuram at 4.05 pm for Kasaragod, marking the completion of the trial run. The formal inauguration of the Second Vande Bharat Express by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled for the 24th through a video conference following his ‘Manki Bath’ lecture. A total of nine Vande Bharat trains are being inaugurated in various parts of the country. Tickets booked on the inaugural day will not be valid for travel, and travel is set to commence from the 26th. The train departs from Kasaragod at 7 am and arrives in Thiruvananthapuram at 3.05 am.
