Family Anxious as Sheeja Undergoes Third Surgery Following Israel Shelling

In the aftermath of the recent shelling incident in Ashkelon, Israel, Sheeja Anand, a caregiver who has been working in Israel for seven years, underwent her third surgery, this time on her back, after surgeries on her hand and leg. Currently under treatment at Tel Aviv Hospital, Lod Rishon, Israel, Sheeja’s condition has stabilized, easing the worries of her family back in Kerala.

The ordeal began when Sheeja, in a video call with her family on that fateful day, shared her fear and anxiety about the frequent missile attacks. A few hours later, the family lost contact with her. It was only later that they learned about her injuries and the ongoing treatment.

While the medical staff has made efforts to keep the family updated, they are still in a state of constant worry. The family had a brief video call with Sheeja through which they saw her condition, but they eagerly await more detailed information from the hospital.

Despite the distance, the family’s thoughts and prayers remain with Sheeja as she continues her recovery journey in the hospital. They anxiously wait for further updates, hoping for her swift and complete recovery.
