69th National Film Awards 2023 Highlights: Indrans Receives Special Jury Mention, Allu Arjun and Alia Bhatt Win Best Actor Awards

The prestigious 69th National Film Awards 2023 concluded at Vigyan Bhavan with several artists and films receiving accolades for their outstanding contributions to Indian cinema. Notably, actor Indrans was honored with a special jury mention for his performance in the movie ‘Home,’ presented by President Droupadi Murmu.

Malayali artists showcased their talent, with ‘Home’ receiving the award for Best Malayalam Movie. Shahi Kabir was recognized with the national award for Best Screenplay (Original) for ‘Nayattu,’ featuring Joju George, Nimisha Sajayan, and Kunchacko Boban. Director Vishnu Mohan received the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film for ‘Meppadiyan.’

Allu Arjun was lauded with the Best Actor Award for his exceptional role in the crime action-thriller film ‘Pushpa: The Rise.’ Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon received the esteemed Best Actress Award for their remarkable performances in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and ‘Mimi,’ respectively.
