Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains the world’s most popular leader, securing a remarkable 76% approval rating, as per a survey conducted by Morning Consult. The US-based consultancy firm’s ‘Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker’ indicates that 76% of individuals in India endorse PM Modi’s leadership, while 18% express disapproval, and six percent refrained from offering an opinion.
In the global rankings, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador holds the second position with a 66% approval rating, followed by Switzerland President Alain Berset at 58%. This marks a consistent trend, as Modi had previously topped the charts in earlier surveys by Morning Consult.
Comparatively, other world leaders received the following approval ratings:
- US President Joe Biden: 37%
- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau: 31%
- UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak: 25%
- French President Emmanuel Macron: 24%.
