WhatsApp Reportedly Testing Revamped Dark Interface and Sidebar for Web Users

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new color scheme and a redesigned sidebar for its Web version’s dark theme. The anticipated changes aim to reduce eye strain for users in low-light conditions. Although the new interface is not yet available for beta testers, it is expected to be introduced in a future update.

The revamped design includes a new background color for the dark theme, visible across the top bar, background, and message bubbles. The improvements in the sidebar are intended to enhance the overall messaging experience on WhatsApp Web.

As of now, there is no official confirmation from WhatsApp regarding these developments. The company has been actively introducing new features, such as Pinned Messages and the View Once option for voice messages, to enhance the user experience on its platform. Additionally, there are reports of upcoming features like the ability to share HD images and videos in status updates.
