K-Rail Navigates Challenges in SilverLine Project Talks with Railways and Plans Interaction with NHAI

K-Rail authorities are actively engaging in discussions with the Railways to address challenges related to the SilverLine project. The ongoing talks are crucial, especially since Southern Railway has expressed reluctance to surrender its land for the semi-high-speed rail initiative. The Railway Board has directed Southern Railway to find solutions to the issues at hand. K-Rail officials are working towards persuading the Railways that the proposed alignment for the SilverLine will complement the latter’s future plans effectively.

In addition to negotiations with the Railways, K-Rail has also scheduled interactions with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). These discussions will take place once K-Rail finalizes a comprehensive framework for land acquisition related to the SilverLine project. The strategic approach aims to address concerns from various stakeholders and facilitate the seamless progress of the ambitious rail project.
