The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially opened the registration process for the Class 10 and 12 board exams for the academic year 2024-25. Schools affiliated with CBSE must complete the List of Candidates (LOC) submission online via the Pareeksha Sangam portal at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in. The registration window opened on September 5, 2024, and will remain available until October 4, 2024, without any late fee.
Schools are required to complete the LOC submission and pay the prescribed exam fees within this timeframe. For students of Class 10 and 12, the regular fee for five subjects is ₹1500 per candidate for schools in India and ₹10,000 for schools abroad. Visually impaired students are exempt from this fee. Students can also register for additional subjects for ₹300 per subject in India and ₹20,000 per subject for those abroad. For government school students in Delhi from SC/ST categories, a reduced fee of ₹1200 per candidate is applicable for five subjects.
Schools that miss the initial deadline can submit the LOC with a late fee of ₹2000 per candidate until October 15, 2024. Practical exam fees for Class 12 students have also been outlined at ₹150 per subject for schools in India and Nepal, and ₹350 for schools abroad.
The CBSE board exams are set to begin in February 2025, with the detailed date sheet expected to be released in November or December 2024. Students and parents are advised to ensure the accuracy of all details during the registration process, as discrepancies can lead to issues with official documents like mark sheets and roll numbers.
