Kochi is gearing up to host the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025 (IKGS 2025), a two-day event designed to attract both national and international investments into the state. The summit, which will take place on February 21 and 22, will be inaugurated by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The opening session will be presided over by Industries Minister P Rajeev and will feature the participation of Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari (Road Transport and Highways), Piyush Goyal (Commerce and Industry), and Jayant Chaudhary (Skill Development and Entrepreneurship).
International representation will include key figures such as UAE’s Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touk Al Marri, Bahrain’s Commerce and Industry Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, and Kerala’s Leader of the Opposition V D Satheesan. Prominent business leaders, including M A Yusuf Ali (Vice Chairman, Norka Roots), CII President Sanjiv Puri, and Adani Ports and SEZ Limited MD Karan Adani, will also share their insights on Kerala’s economic potential. Additionally, former NITI Aayog CEO and G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant will be among the distinguished attendees.
The summit is expected to welcome approximately 3,000 delegates, including representatives from 24 countries. The event will feature country-focused investment sessions highlighting opportunities in Germany, Vietnam, Norway, UAE, France, and Malaysia.
One of the major attractions of IKGS 2025 will be 29 thematic sessions covering key sectors and an exhibition showcasing over 100 enterprises, presenting Kerala’s industrial achievements and traditional handicrafts. The event aims to showcase Kerala as a prime investment destination, fostering discussions among global investors, industry leaders, and policymakers.
With a strong lineup of global and domestic stakeholders, IKGS 2025 promises to be a landmark event in positioning Kerala as a hub for industrial growth and foreign investment.
