South Indian Stars Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have taken their relationship to the next level by getting engaged in a private ceremony attended only by close family and friends. The couple is now reportedly planning to tie the knot in February 2026.
Though both Vijay and Rashmika have chosen not to comment on their relationship status publicly, reports from regional media suggest the engagement took place quietly, reflecting their shared preference for keeping personal milestones away from the spotlight.
This isn’t the first time Rashmika has sparked dating chatter. During Pushpa 2 promotions last year, when asked if she would marry someone from the film industry, she cheekily replied, “Everyone knows about it,” prompting laughter from Allu Arjun and the audience. Despite multiple vacation sightings and consistent buzz around their relationship, both actors have remained tight-lipped about their personal lives.
As per the national media, Vijay Deverakonda’s team has confirmed the news of him getting engaged to actress Rashmika Mandanna. The report suggests that, without revealing too many details, the actors’ team has also confirmed that they are planning to get married in February 2026.
While Rashmika and Vijay haven’t confirmed the news of their engagement or wedding, the actress has shared a series of pictures looking stunning in a red saree, which fueled speculations. While sharing the pictures, the actress wrote, “This year, I’m feeling extra grateful because of all the love you’ve been showering on the Thamma trailer and our song. Your messages, your excitement, your constant support… You make every moment bigger and happier for me. And I can’t wait to see you all super sooooon during the promotions.”
On the work front, Rashmika is gearing up for the release of Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy Thamma, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal. The film is set to hit cinemas on October 21, 2025. She has also wrapped Cocktail 2 with Kriti Sanon. Vijay Deverakonda, last seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s spy thriller Kingdom (2025).
