Kochi’s Culinary Favorites
Chicken Biryani dominated as the city’s most ordered dish, with an impressive 1.1 million plates delivered. Other popular choices included Non-Veg Strips, Chicken Fry, and Chicken Gravy. Chicken Shawarma led the snack category with 79,713 orders, followed by Chicken Roll and Chicken Momos. For dessert lovers, Chocolate Lava Cake reigned supreme, with 19,381 orders, alongside the Chocolate Cream Cake, which gained a loyal following.
Breakfast orders featured Dosa as the favorite, with 2.23 lakh deliveries, accompanied by Idli, Kadala Gravy, Veg Strips, and Channa Gravy. Dinner emerged as the busiest meal of the day, with over 3.1 million meals ordered during evening hours.
Extravagant Spending and Unique Trends
Kochi residents made headlines for extravagant spending, with one customer splurging Rs 17,622 on 18 Chicken Mandi Spicy dishes. Another user spent Rs 15,280 on 40 Chicken Biryanis and sides. Interestingly, over 3,678 orders were placed using Swiggy’s Incognito Mode, allowing users to discreetly indulge in their culinary cravings.
