Noida is all set to transform into a floral paradise as the much-anticipated 37th Vasant Utsav Flower Show kicks off on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Organized by the Noida Authority in collaboration with the city’s floriculture society, this annual festival will take place at the Helipad Ground/Shivalik Park in Sector-33A and continue until Sunday, February 23. Visitors can enjoy a spectacular display of flowers, cultural performances, and horticultural insights at this grand celebration of nature.
This year’s event is inspired by the Maha Kumbh and features a breathtaking 30- to 35-foot replica of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple made entirely of flowers. The theme, “Triveni Sangam of Prayagraj,” aims to highlight India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage, offering attendees an immersive experience.
With over 350 floral entries and more than 40 stalls, the 2025 edition of Vasant Utsav is set to be grander than ever. The event will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and entry is free for all visitors.
Festival Highlights:
- Day 1 (Feb 20) – The festival will commence with a formal opening ceremony and an exciting floral arrangement competition, followed by cultural performances.
- Day 2 (Feb 21) – Attendees can admire beautifully curated flower arrangements, vegetable sculptures, and cut bloom displays while enjoying a lively fusion band performance.
- Day 3 (Feb 22) – Horticulture experts will host an interactive session on gardening techniques, followed by a prize distribution ceremony and traditional Indian dance performances.
- Day 4 (Feb 23) – The festival will conclude with a flash painting competition, another round of awards, and a grand closing ceremony featuring a laser show and a Kavi Sammelan (poetry session).
The event will showcase a variety of flowers, including alyssum, aster, brachycome, calendula, dianthus, gazania, larkspur, marigold, nasturtium, nemesia, Californian poppy, salvia, stock, verbena, and viola. Visitors can also explore stalls offering gardening essentials, expert tips, and floral decor items.
To encourage widespread participation, invitations have been extended to schools, corporate offices, colleges, and resident welfare associations (RWAs). The Noida Authority has made special arrangements to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all visitors, from gardening enthusiasts to families looking for a fun outing.
