At the trailer launch of Singham Again, Ranveer revealed that their daughter has already made her on-screen debut, albeit in an unexpected way. The much-anticipated film, which features the couple alongside Ajay Devgn, will release on November 1, 2024.
While Deepika couldn’t attend the trailer launch event due to her motherly duties, Ranveer enthusiastically shared the reason for her absence. “Deepika is busy with our baby, so she couldn’t make it today. I’m on night duty, which is why I’m here,” he joked, radiating new-parent excitement. The star also revealed the special name they have for their daughter—baby Simmba—a nod to Ranveer’s role in the franchise. “This is my baby’s debut. Deepika was pregnant during the filming of Singham Again, so it feels like our little girl has already been a part of the film,” he said.
The trailer for Singham Again—directed by Rohit Shetty—showcases an action-packed spectacle with an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Tiger Shroff. The film, inspired by the Ramayana, promises to be a grand Diwali release, set to clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Triptii Dimri.
Ranveer and Deepika took to Instagram to announce the birth of their daughter, sharing a heartfelt message: “Welcome Baby Girl 8.9.2024. Deepika and Ranveer.” The news was met with an outpouring of love from fans and celebrities alike.
