Ingredients
¼ cup whole wheat flour
½ cup jowar flour
¼ cup bajra flour
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp gram flour
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small tomato, finely chopped
¼ cup coriander leaves
1 green chilli, finely chopped
Ghee
Water
Salt
Preparation
Combine wheat, jowar, bajra, onion, tomato, green chilli, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, gram flour, cumin seeds, and salt in a bowl.
Add water and knead the mixture into a soft dough with a chapati-like consistency.
Divide the dough into 5 portions and shape each into balls.
Pat the balls to form round discs, using a little water on the fingers to prevent sticking.
Heat a pan, and once hot, cook the Thalipeeth on it, drizzling some ghee around its edges.Cook until both sides are golden brown.
Serve with pickle, chutney, or yogurt for a wholesome and flavorful breakfast.
