T20 Women’s World Cup; India announce squad
India has announced the squad for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023, with pacer Shikha Pandey returning to the team after 14 months. This squad will be part of the World Cup as well as the tri-series in South Africa, starting in January.
The Women’s T20 World Cup will begin on February 10, with India set to start their campaign against Pakistan on February 12. India have been grouped in Group 2 with England, West Indies, Pakistan and Ireland.
