Lack of alertness when Covid rises? A case was filed against 3065 people on Sunday for violating the regulations

Thiruvananthapuram: Despite the increase in the number of covid cases in the state, the number of people violating the regulations has not decreased. Police on Sunday registered a case against 3,065 people across the state for violating covid regulations on Sunday alone. 1440 people have been arrested.

A total of 12,996 unmasked incidents were reported in the state on Sunday. Twenty-two cases of quarantine violations were reported. According to figures released by the Police Media Center, 1087 vehicles were seized. In Thiruvananthapuram city alone, 709 cases were reported

Kollam City 426, Ernakulam City 214, Thrissur City 185, Kozhikode City 65, and Kannur City 100 are the number of cases registered today for violation of Covid regulations.

On Sunday covid-19 has been confirmed in 35,801 people in the State. 68 deaths have also been reported. Concerns have been raised about the high level of test positivity. Sunday’s TPR is 28.88. During the last 24 hours, 1,23,980 samples were tested.
