Kerala to Experience Persistent Rainfall; No Districts Under Rain Warning

According to the Central Meteorological Department, Kerala is expected to witness ongoing moderate rainfall, with a need for the public to remain vigilant due to the potential for thunderstorms and gusty winds accompanying the rain. However, no official rain warnings have been issued for any districts in the state today.

Fishermen and coastal dwellers are advised to exercise caution as there is a possibility of encountering high waves and rough seas along the Kerala coastline. Nevertheless, fishing activities remain unrestricted along the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep.

These persistent rains in the region are attributed to the influence of a robust low-pressure system situated over Chhattisgarh.
