Political Leaders Set to Campaign in Kerala: Priyanka Gandhi, Sitaram Yechury, and Others Scheduled to Address Rallies

Political fervor is set to intensify in Kerala as prominent leaders from various parties gear up to campaign for their respective candidates. Here’s a rundown of the leaders scheduled to address rallies in the state:

Priyanka Gandhi’s Visit: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is slated to arrive in Kerala on April 20 to bolster the campaign efforts of UDF candidates. She is expected to address gatherings in key constituencies including Chalakudy, Pathanamthitta, and Thiruvananthapuram, aiming to rally support for the party.

CPM Representation: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) will see the presence of its General Secretary, Sitaram Yechury, who is scheduled to visit Kerala on April 21. Yechury will engage in a series of meetings over two days, likely focusing on consolidating support for the party’s candidates.

Other Leaders’ Participation: Joining the campaign trail are notable leaders such as Brinda Karat from the CPM, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, and Karnataka Chief Minister K Siddaramaiah. They are expected to lend their support through public addresses and interactions with voters across various constituencies.

Expectation of BJP Leaders: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is also gearing up for a strong campaign in Kerala, with Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and Nitin Gadkari anticipated to visit the state. However, the dates for their visits are yet to be finalized.

With a flurry of political activities expected in the coming days, Kerala is poised to witness intense campaigning as parties vie for voter attention and support ahead of the elections.
