Indian Panorama Shines at 54th IFFI: A Showcase of Cinematic Excellence

The 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is all set to dazzle audiences with its Indian Panorama, featuring a compelling selection of films. Organized by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, the Indian Panorama aims to spotlight films that embody cinematic, thematic, and aesthetic brilliance.

Among the standout entries are India’s Oscar submission “2018-Everyone Is A Hero,” along with captivating films like “The Kerala Story” and “The Vaccine War.” This selection, made by eminent personalities from the cinema world, includes 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films, meticulously chosen for their excellence.

In the feature films category, audiences can anticipate engaging titles such as “Aaraariraaro,” “Deep Fridge,” “Kantara,” “Kaathal,” “Sanaa,” “Vadh,” “Ponniyin Selvan-II,” “Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai,” and “Gulmohar.” Meanwhile, the non-feature films section will showcase gems like “1947: Brexit India,” “Andro Dreams,” “Baasan,” “Back To The Future,” “Behrupiya – The Impersonator,” “Nansei Nilam,” “Pradakshina,” and “The Sea & Seven Villages.”

The 54th IFFI, scheduled to take place from November 20 to 28 in Goa, will feature these extraordinary films, captivating audiences with a rich tapestry of cinematic artistry. The event kicks off with the Malayalam film “Aattam” in the feature film category, while “Andro Dreams” takes the spotlight as the opening film in the non-feature section. Since its introduction in 1978, the Indian Panorama has played a vital role in promoting Indian films, showcasing the nation’s cultural and cinematic heritage on the global stage.
