“Bollywood is dictated by 4 people” : Govinda

Insider v/s outsider debate about Bollywood is trending in social media. Some Bollywood celebrities has voiced their opinions on the same matter. Govinda is the latest Bollywood celebrity to have commented on the same. Coolie no 1 actor said that he too faced  struggles despite his parents Nirmala Devi and Arun Kumar Raja being actors. The actor stated that when he started out in the industry, many new producers did not know about his lineage, and he had to wait for hours to meet them.

He admitted that camps and gangs do exist in the industry. And he feels that Bollywood is now being dictated by four to five people.

“Earlier whoever was talented, got work. Every film would get equal opportunities in theatres. But now, there are four or five people who dictate the whole business. They decide if they want to let films of those who aren’t close to them, release properly or not. Some of my good films also didn’t get the right kind of release. But, things are changing now,”  he said.
