Curd is a magic ingredient. This milk product is not only a perfect partner for our roti and dal, but is very beneficial for our skin.
It is an excellent source of calcium, protein, and various essential vitamins. The vitamin D in curd is very good for the skin and the lactic acid present in it helps in removing dead cells, fights wrinkles and other early signs of ageing. The lactic acid also helps moisturise the skin, making it soft and supple. Not just this, curd also fights acne, helps in tan removal and reduces redness on the skin.
- Mix gram flour with turmeric, curd, rose water and bit of lemon juice. Now, the trick here is that once the pack dries, remove it by rubbing it with the help of your hands. This will help you get rid of the tan and unwanted facial hair.
- Take a spoonful of curd and mix it with some honey. Put it on your face for 10 minutes and then wash it off with normal water. It will moisturise the skin
- Curd has amazing anti-inflammatory properties. If you are struggling with acne problem, then you can put fresh curd in just that area regularly.
- Apply fresh curd for 10 minutes under your eyes to reduce dark circles. Make sure that you wash it off with cold water.
