Kerala Company’s Contribution to Ayodhya: Over 500 Bio-Toilets Installed for Ram Temple Consecration

As Ayodhya prepares for the grand consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple, a Kerala-based company named Indian Centrifuge Engineering Solutions Pvt Ltd (ICF) takes the spotlight for its significant contribution. Specializing in sanitation solutions, ICF has installed over 500 bio-toilets in Ayodhya within a short span of 60 days. The company’s major manufacturing unit is located in Kerala Small Industries Development Corporation Limited’s industrial estate in Ettumanoor, with a secondary factory established in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, in 2022.

Having a proven track record, ICF has been supplying various sanitation products to Sabarimala since 2013. The company undertook the Ayodhya project on a special order from the Swachh Bharat Mission, ensuring the delivery and installation of bio-toilets well before the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti on January 15. In addition to their installation, ICF has committed to providing 24×7 maintenance for these bio-toilets for the next year.

With a monthly capacity to produce 300 bio-toilets, ICF’s expertise extends to manufacturing treatment systems, chemical toilets, hand wash stations, water-free urinals, and shower cabins. This contribution aligns with the broader vision of promoting cleanliness and hygiene in public spaces, reflecting the commitment of Kerala-based industries to national initiatives like Swachh Bharat. As Ayodhya gears up for the pran pratishtha of the idol of Ram Lalla on Monday, the seamless availability of these bio-toilets stands as a testament to effective collaboration between states and industries for significant events.
