Actress Deepika Padukone has been in the news after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) questioned her in connection with a drugs case. She was examined over an alleged drug link, pertaining to her old WhatsApp chats wherein she had asked for ‘maal‘ from her manager, Karishma Prakash. The chats came out during the NCB probe into the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

An old video of the actress backing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has now gone viral on the internet. In the said interview from the year 2010, Deepika was asked about the young leaders of the country. Deepika, in response, was seen talking about Rahul and how he makes a good example for the youth.
NCB Probe leaves Deepika Padukone “broken”
“I don’t know much about politics, but from whatever I see on TV; whatever Rahul Gandhi is doing makes him a classic example for the youth. Hopefully, he will be the prime minister one day,” Deepika said.
