Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda has been in the news since, earlier in the week as he said in an interview that universal adult suffrage doesn’t make sense to him because the poor get enticed by cheap alcohol and cash. He went on to shared his the views that the right to vote should not be universal. He even said that he would prefer a benevolent dictatorship. The Dear comrade actor said that he would like to be a dictator himself. “That’s the only way you can change. We need to have a good guy as a dictator,” he added.
