Maruti Suzuki India, the country’s largest carmaker informed that will increase car prices from January. The company said on Wednesday that the setback was due to higher raw material costs. Maruti Suzuki India points out that manufacturing costs have increased significantly in the last year.
Therefore, it has become necessary to pass on to consumers some of the additional costs mentioned above through the January 2021 price hike. The price increase will according to the different models, the company informed.
Presently, Maruti is launching various models up to Rs 12 lakh. These range from the Alto worth Rs 2.95 lakh to the XL6, a multi-purpose vehicle priced at Rs 11.52 lakh.
