Heart diseases becoming common in younger people: Tips to prevent it

Heart diseases among Indians occur five to ten years earlier than in other countries across the globe. Here the most worrying part is that heart problems among younger people are on a constant rise. Sedentary lifestyle and increased stress levels amongst youngsters in India. Lack of  playing, cycling, or recreation in most urban centers is only increasing  the problems. Most of our school and college curriculums also have very little emphasis on sports or physical activity.

It is important to follow these healthy diet to prevent heart problems at an early age

– Control blood pressure

– Keep your cholesterol and triglyceride levels in check

– Maintain a healthy weight

– Have a healthy diet

– Exercise reugularly

– Limit alcohol intake and quit smoking

– Manage stress

– Get adequate  sleep
