When one looks back at the 80s and 90s Bollywood, one cannot deny the rift between Shatrughan Sinha and his co-actors Big B and Rajesh Khanna.

When asked why he grew distant with Rajesh Khanna, Shatrughan recalled the time the two contested elections against each other. “Rajesh was very upset when I contested against him in a by-election. Honestly I didn’t want to, but couldn’t refuse L K Advani Ji. I tried explaining this to Rajesh but he did not like; we didn’t speak for quite a long time,” said Shatrughan .
He also shared what went down between him and the industry’s angry young man Amitabh Bachchan. He revealed that Big B was not a rival but rather a competitor for him. “I have nothing against Amitabh; I hold him in very high esteem and have only love, affection and regards for him,” the actor added.
