Twitter restarts account verification after three years
Twitter will begin rolling its new application and review process for account verification after almost three and a half years of pausing the programme.
Information from U.S.-headquartered added it is also working on ways to indicate automated and memorialised accounts.
A verified Twitter account gets the ‘blue tick badge’ which is one of the ways people can differentiate the authenticity of accounts that are of high public interest.
