Special Vande Bharat Service from Chennai to Kozhikode on Christmas Day

In response to overwhelming demand, a special ‘Vande Bharat’ service has been organized to operate from Chennai to Kozhikode on Christmas day. The train (06041) is set to depart from Chennai Central Station at 4:30 AM, with the scheduled arrival at Kozhikode at 3:20 PM. The special service aims to accommodate passengers during the festive season, offering a convenient travel option.

The train features eight coaches and stops at stations including Perambur, Erode, and Shoranur. For travelers, an AC chair car ticket is priced at Rs 1,530, while an executive chair car can be booked for Rs 3,080. This additional ‘Vande Bharat’ service has been made possible using the Southern Railway’s available additional rake, ensuring a comfortable and timely journey for passengers celebrating Christmas away from their homes.
