When Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Reena Dutta scolded him on Lagaan sets

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, on the 20th anniversary of Oscar-nominated movie Lagaan, praised his ex-wife Reena Dutta, she was the producer of the movie. He said that Reena never shown any interest  before working on Lagaan, but after becoming familiar with even the technical side of things, she scolded him for making a decision that caused a delay in filming of the movie.

“The one thing that remains with me is the way Reena handled the film. Reena, my ex-wife, was the producer of the film. And she was somebody who had no understanding of cinema until then. Though she was married to me for a number of years, she wasn’t interested in films. When I told her one night that I was producing it, and would need her help, she said, ‘I don’t know anything about film, what can I help you?’.” Aamir said.
