Ever tried grilled pizza? It is so easy to prepare .The perfectly charred, crispy outside, and chewy on the inside, with plenty of melty cheese on top will melt in your taste buds.
virgin olive oil, for brushing and drizzling
1/2 lb. thinly sliced mozzarella
1 large tomato, thinly sliced
1 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
1 c. ricotta
Freshly chopped basil
Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.
- Heat grill over medium heat. Use your hands to stretch out pizza dough . Apply both sides with oil, and place on grill. Cook until bottom turns golden, 1 to 2 minutes and then flip. Then top crust with some cheese, tomatoes, and ricotta. After that cook until bottom of pizza turns golden.
- Top with basil, red pepper flakes, and sprinkle oil.
