War of Words Between Kerala CM and Opposition Leader Over Assembly Session Postponement

In a recent advisory committee meeting in Kerala, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Opposition Leader V D Satheesan engaged in a heated exchange of words over the postponement of the assembly session scheduled for February 9. Satheesan had requested the delay, citing a campaign march called ‘Samaragni’ organized by the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC). Vijayan responded, stating, ‘you are also cooperating well,’ leading to a verbal dispute between the two. Eventually, the opposition walked out of the advisory committee meeting. Despite the disagreement, the advisory committee decided to shorten the assembly session, concluding it by February 15, instead of the initially planned date of March 20. The budget is set to be presented on February 5.
