Today’s Petrol and Diesel Prices, October 9, 2021: Fuel prices have risen yet again; check rates in your city

New Delhi: Petrol and fuel prices in the country reached a new high on Saturday. In Delhi, petrol costs Rs 103.84 per litre, an increase of 30 paise, while diesel costs Rs 92.47 per litre, an increase of 35 paise.

Petrol costs Rs 109.83 per litre in Mumbai, a 29-paisa increase, while diesel costs Rs 100.29 per litre, a 37-paisa increase.

In Chennai, a litre of fuel costs Rs 101.27, a 26-paise increase. A litre of fuel cost Rs 96.93 on Saturday, a 33-paise increase.

In Kolkata, petrol costs Rs 104.52 per litre, which is 29 paise more expensive, and diesel costs Rs 95.58 per litre, which is 35 paise more expensive.

Petrol costs Rs 112.38 in Bhopal, up 31 paise from the previous day, while diesel costs Rs 101.54, up 37 paise.

Every day at 6 a.m., oil marketing companies such as Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil, and Hindustan Petroleum change the prices of gasoline and diesel. Fuel prices differ between states and municipalities due to variable value-added taxes, local and freight charges, and other factors.
