BEVCO Projects Record Turnover of Rs 19,000 Crore in Fiscal Year 2023-24

The Kerala State Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) anticipates achieving a remarkable turnover of Rs 19,000 crore by the conclusion of the current financial year. Sales figures from April 2023 to March 14, 2024, indicate liquor transactions amounting to Rs 18,160.29 crore, closely trailing last year’s turnover of Rs 18,431.25 crore. This uptrend signifies a significant surge compared to the revenue recorded in the fiscal year 2021-22, demonstrating the steady growth trajectory of BEVCO’s operations.

With an evident rise in demand, BEVCO has facilitated the sale of 212.68 lakh cases of Indian-made foreign liquor and 101.48 lakh cases of beer during the specified period, indicating sustained consumer interest. The corporation’s robust performance reflects in its substantial contribution to the government’s revenue, with Rs 15,826.98 crore already remitted during the ongoing financial year, underlining BEVCO’s pivotal role in Kerala’s economic landscape.
