Actress Assault Case: Dileep’s Appeal Rejected by Court, Setback Ensues

Dileep’s appeal related to the memory card leak incident in the actress assault case has been turned down by the High Court. The survivor, in her submitted petition, has requested a postponement of the hearing.

The High Court has designated Advocate Ranjith Marar as amicus curiae to assist the court in addressing the actress’s complaint. The actress had also urged the court to step in voluntarily regarding the memory card leak matter. She has emphasized the presence of preliminary evidence suggesting the memory card’s unauthorized release and has underscored the importance of safeguarding her fundamental rights as a victim. She made it clear that someone purposefully accessed the footage stored on the memory card, warranting appropriate action.

Dileep had previously claimed that the investigation into the memory card leak was a tactic to unnecessarily prolong the trial, adversely affecting his life in the process.
