Covid curbs have been revised; triple lockdown has been implemented in areas with TPRs greater than 15.

The restrictions imposed after categorising the local bodies on the basis of test positivity rate (TPR) will be revised, it has been decided in the Covid review meeting held under the leadership of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

The places with TPR below 5 are included in A category, the places with TPR between 5-10 are in B category, the places with TPR between 10-15 are in C category and those with TPR above 15 are in D category. The restrictions will be implemented on the basis of this from July 7 Wednesday.

Government offices in categories A and B will operate at full capacity, while offices in category C will operate at half capacity. According to the most recent figures, there are 82 local governments in the A category, 415 in the B category, 362 in the C category, and 175 in the D category.
