Santosh Trophy; Kerala held to 1-1 draw by Punjab

In the ongoing 76th National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy, Kerala has been eliminated by a 1-1 draw against Punjab. The defending champions were eliminated in the final round as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Punjab.

Kerala had to win the game to secure a semi-final berth. Kerala dominated the match and pressed Punjab from the very first minute. Punjab, on the other hand, relied on counterattacks. Even though Kerala continued to create chances, the team was unable to find the back of the rack.
