Puthuppally Bypoll : Nibu John Denies Candidacy Rumors and Clarifies Stance

Kottayam: Nibu John,  Congress leader and member of the Kottayam district panchayat, has firmly denied rumors suggesting his possible candidacy as the LDF representative for the Puthuppally by-election. Nibu John, closely associated with Oommen Chandy and former president of the Puthuppally grama panchayat, has unequivocally stated that he has no plans to contest against Congress candidate Chandy Oommen.

He has dismissed claims of any outreach from the CPM leadership, asserting that he has not engaged in any discussions with the CPM or any other political party regarding his potential candidacy. Nibu John emphasized his current active involvement in campaigning for Chandy Oommen.
