The IMD has issued an alert indicating the possibility of rain accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds reaching up to 50 km per hour across all districts.

A yellow alert has been sounded in Wayanad district, with expected rainfall ranging from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm within a span of 24 hours. Furthermore, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Idukki, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad districts are anticipated to receive light to moderate rainfall by 5:30 pm on Friday, according to the latest forecast.
