Lakshmi Menon’s acting workshop offers a unique blend of movements, wellness, and psychology to enhance the holistic performance of actors. Initially trained in Theater Arts at Christ University, Bangalore, and screen acting at Neo Film School, Lakshmi Menon has over nine years of experience in cinema, commercials, and theatre. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she focused on refining her acting skills and researching effective techniques, leading to the development of her ‘Mukthi Acting Experience’ workshop.
Her approach goes beyond traditional acting classes by integrating mental strength and wellness practices into the curriculum. Lakshmi emphasizes that acting requires deep mental involvement and adaptability, especially in the dynamic environment of cinema. Her workshops aim to prepare participants for the demands of film acting by combining psychological insights with practical training. She includes breathing exercises and physical movements to enhance overall alertness and well-being.
Lakshmi’s workshop will be held on August 24 at ‘Feel Home,’ an art space in Fort Kochi, and is designed to refine participants’ skills and boost their confidence in the craft of acting.
