Zimbabwe Launches eVisa for Effortless Entry for Indian and International Tourists

Zimbabwe Introduces eVisa for Hassle-Free Travel for 118 Nations, Including India

Zimbabwe has taken a significant step to enhance its tourism sector by introducing a new electronic Visa (eVisa) system, allowing travelers from 118 countries, including India, to secure their visas upon arrival at international airports. This initiative is designed to simplify entry procedures and promote the country’s rich tourism offerings, particularly for those interested in experiencing exceptional wildlife viewing this October.

To apply for an eVisa, eligible travelers must complete an online application at least 72 hours prior to their journey. The application process is user-friendly and consists of just a few straightforward steps.

Types of Visas and Their Validity:

Tourist Visa: This visa is valid for 90 days from the issuance date.

Business Visa: This type is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.

Visa on Arrival: Travelers can indicate their intended stay duration upon arrival.

Visa Requirements:

Stay Duration: Individuals planning to stay for more than 30 days or intending to work or study in Zimbabwe must apply for a visa through an embassy under the eVisa initiative.

Age Requirement: All travelers aged over 45 must secure a visa, regardless of the purpose of their visit or the duration of their stay.

Visa Categories:

Category A: Travelers can enter Zimbabwe without a visa by completing an online declaration.

Category B: This category requires travelers to pay for and acquire a visa upon arrival, with an option to submit an online declaration beforehand to speed up the process.

Category C: Travelers must apply, pay for, and obtain a visa prior to their trip to Zimbabwe.

eVisa Fees:

Single Entry eVisa for 1 month: USD 30 (approximately INR 2,510)

Double Entry eVisa for 3 months: USD 45 (approximately INR 3,765)

KAZA Univisa (valid for both Zimbabwe and Zambia): USD 65 (approximately INR 5,438)

Citizens from various countries, including India, Australia, Canada, the UK, the USA, and many others, can take advantage of this eVisa system, making it easier than ever to explore the natural beauty and diverse attractions of Zimbabwe.
